How to pay with crypto
Never used a crypto wallet? It takes about five minutes the first time, and seconds after that.
- 1
Get a Solana wallet
Install Phantom (phone app or browser extension). Solflare and Backpack work too. Write your recovery phrase on paper and never share it: nobody from Polar Store will ever ask for it.
- 2
Add USDC or SOL
Buy USDC or SOL directly in your wallet with a card, or withdraw it from an exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken…) to your wallet's Solana address. Choose the Solana network when you withdraw. Keep a little SOL (about $0.10) for network fees, even if you pay in USDC.
- 3
Pick an account and reserve it
Choose USDC (exact price) or SOL (converted at today's rate), enter your email and click Reserve and pay. The account is held for you for 10 minutes.
- 4
Pay
On your phone, scan the QR code with your wallet: the amount and the order reference are filled in for you. On a computer, click Pay with a browser wallet and approve in the popup. Don't edit the amount.
- 5
Get your account
A few seconds after Solana confirms the payment, the login appears on screen and in your inbox. Change both passwords right away.
Can I pay straight from an exchange?
Please don't. Exchanges can't attach the order reference, so the payment can't be matched automatically and can only be refunded by hand to an address you control. Withdraw to your own wallet first.
USDC or SOL?
USDC is a dollar-pegged stablecoin: you pay the exact price. SOL is converted at the rate shown at checkout and locked for 10 minutes.
My 10 minutes ran out
If you paid anyway, don't worry: the payment is still matched. If the account is still available you get it; otherwise you're refunded automatically.
I sent the wrong amount
If you sent too little, the order is not delivered and we refund you to the wallet that paid. If you sent too much, you get the account and we refund the difference on request.
